The Cascadia Seminar is a interactive forum for exploring cutting-edge work in medical anthropology. Held at different universities in the Cascadia region (the Canadian Pacific Southwest and US Pacific Northwest), it is a small, intimate, high-interest weekend conference typically offered biannually in March or April. It is organized collaboratively by medical anthropologists from different Cascadia region university and college faculties, which are on the ceded and unceded territories of Coast Salish, Wakashan, Chinookan and Sahaptin people.
